The arithmetic
The score sheet behind the Ireland ranking, check by check
Twelve offshore operators are scored out of the same fixed checks, and no Irish licence exists for any of them yet.
Five fields per casino, each taken from a document with a date on it: how many coins the cashier lists, the withdrawal cap with the clause it sits in, the sum that triggers the identity check, the company named on the licence and the authority that issued it. An empty field means the document was not read here — never a zero, never a permission. Every button opens the same place: the casino this site is paid to feature, and not the operator printed in the card beside it.

The scorecard is the product, not the list
The crypto casino Ireland ranking on the home page orders 12 operators by score. The score is not a ranking of preference; it is a count of published answers out of a fixed set of checks. Every operator faces the same questions, and a blank cell means the document was not read, not that the operator has no rule. This is the arithmetic behind that list. Free spins do not move that arithmetic, since no free-spin offer is on file with a value to read.
A separate bitcoin comparison runs the same fixed checks.
The denominator never shrinks. An operator that publishes less scores lower rather than dropping out. Where a cash-out ceiling is not read, the field is left blank and the score reflects the absence. That is the difference between a list and a ledger, and the reason the page shows every blank cell as a blank.
The score does not reward glossy language or the absence of a rule. It rewards a published number, a stated holder, a clause the page can point to. A blank is not a fault of the operator alone; it is simply a fact the comparison records.
Captured 6 September 2026. Rocketpot's terms set the verification threshold at 2,500 USD under clause 11.4, a figure that appears nowhere on this screen.
The twelve licences and where they actually sit
All twelve operators on this site accept players in Ireland, but none holds an Irish licence and none can before the law permits one. The relevant regulator is the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), created by the Gambling Regulation Act 2024. The Authority took over oversight in March 2025, opens its first remote applications in February 2026, and issues its first remote licences from July 2026. That first phase covers betting, not online casino games. That timeline is why the ranking of crypto casinos in Ireland is built on foreign register entries and published clauses rather than on an Irish permission that does not yet exist.
Bitcasino.io holds a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, number OGL/2023/111/0069, status Active, holder Moon Technologies B.V., score 9 of 10, Ireland acceptance stated. The licence entry was issued on 2024-07-01. Rocketpot holds a Curacao licence, number 1668/JAZ, status not read, holder Danneskjold Ventures B.V., score 9 of 10, Ireland acceptance stated. The register entry held shows no issue date. Wild Fortune holds an Anjouan Gaming Board licence, number ALSI-202509073-FI2, status valid, holder Metlait SRL, score 8 of 10, Ireland acceptance stated, licence entry issued 2025-09-30.
The remaining nine operators are Vave, DuckDice, Empire.io, Metaspins, Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Rainbet, Shuffle and Sportsbet.io. Vave holds a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, number OGL/2024/1676/0905, status Active, holder Latcas B.V., score 7 of 10, Ireland acceptance stated, licence entry issued 2025-05-19. DuckDice holds an Anjouan licence, number ALSI-202509013-FI1, holder Zentari Limitada, valid, issued 2025-09-16. Empire.io holds an Anjouan licence, number ALSI-132405042-FI3, holder Pixel Entertainment Limited, valid, issued 2024-05-28. Metaspins holds a Curaçao licence, number OGL/2024/1063/0437, holder Metaspins N.V., Active, issued 2024-10-04. Oshi Casino and PlayAmo both hold an Anjouan licence, number ALSI-202508056-FI2, holder Novatrix SRL, valid, issued 2025-08-25. Rainbet holds an Anjouan licence, number ALSI-152406029-FI2, holder RBGAMING N.V., valid, issued 2024-06-14. Shuffle holds a Curaçao licence, number OGL/2024/1337/0628, holder Natural Nine B.V., Active, issued 2024-10-16. Sportsbet.io holds a Curaçao licence, number OGL/2023/110/0072, holder MBet Solutions N.V., Active, issued 2024-07-22. Every score is stated out of 10, and every Ireland acceptance is stated because the operator’s own published list does not name Ireland.
The Irish regulator and the missing online casino category
The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 created the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland. The Authority took over oversight in March 2025. It opens its first remote applications in February 2026 and issues its first remote licences from July 2026. That phase covers betting, not online casino games. So no operator on this page can hold an Irish licence for casino games now.
A player who has a dispute with any of these twelve has no route through the GRAI, because the GRAI has not licensed them. The help line for problem gambling remains Problem Gambling Ireland and the Gambling Awareness Trust, but that is outside the terms of any operator. The absence of an Irish licence means every claim about fairness, deposit security and withdrawal rights rests on a Curaçao or Anjouan licence. The licence guide explains the limits of those registers.
The remote licences that begin in July 2026 will not cover online casino games. A player looking for the best crypto and bitcoin casinos in Ireland should not mistake the 2026 date for a casino licensing date. This page scores only offshore operators because no onshore casino operator exists for this category.
How the checks work and what a blank means
The score is a count of published answers. Each operator receives one point for each published answer among a fixed set of checks. A check not read is left blank, and the blank is visible. Rocketpot, for example, has a score of 9 and a blank where its licence status would sit; the register entry held shows no issue date. That blank does not mean the status is absent, only that it was not read.
Bitcasino.io scores 9 of 10. The documents on file show a licence number, a holder, a status, an issue date, Ireland acceptance, and a cash-out ceiling of 1000000 USDT per week set out in a clause on file. The verification clause is 6.6. The one missing check is the only thing that lowers the score from ten.
Rocketpot also scores 9 of 10, but its blank fields are different: the licence status is not read and the issue date is not on the register entry held. It publishes a cash-out ceiling of 5000 USD per month, clause on file, and verification clause 11.4. The score is the same because the number of published answers is the same, not because the answers are equally strong. The review method shows the fixed checks in full.
The fixed checks include whether the licence number is readable, whether the holder is named, whether the status is Active or valid, whether the issue date is shown, whether Ireland acceptance is stated, whether a cash-out ceiling is published, whether a verification clause is given, and whether a restricted-country list was read. Blanks are recorded for each check that was not read.
An illustration. Gambling is for adults: set a deposit limit before you play and stop when it stops being fun.
Published cash-out ceilings and the blanks that matter
Five of the twelve publish a cash-out ceiling. Bitcasino.io caps withdrawals at 1000000 USDT per week (clause on file). Rocketpot caps withdrawals at 5000 USD per month (clause on file). Wild Fortune sets a monthly withdrawal cap of 15000 EUR (clause on file). Oshi Casino sets a daily withdrawal cap of 4000 EUR (clause on file). PlayAmo sets a weekly withdrawal cap of 7500 EUR (clause on file).
For Vave, DuckDice, Empire.io, Metaspins, Rainbet, Shuffle and Sportsbet.io, no cash-out ceiling was read in the documents held. An empty field means the document was not read; it does not mean the operator has no such rule and does not mean the ceiling is zero. The comparison treats a blank as a blank, not as evidence of a higher or lower standard.
A player who plans to withdraw more than the published ceiling should read the payment terms before depositing. The ceiling is not the only limit: an operator can impose further checks, and a ceiling expressed in USDT or USD may convert differently when paid in euro.
A weekly ceiling and a daily ceiling are not comparable without arithmetic, and the comparison records the exact amount and period rather than converting them.
Verification thresholds and risk-based clauses
Eleven of the twelve operators publish a verification clause. Vave uses risk-based verification under clause 8.7. Bitcasino.io uses a verification threshold under clause 6.6. Rocketpot uses a verification threshold under clause 11.4. Wild Fortune uses risk-based verification under clause 18.1. DuckDice uses risk-based verification under Section 2. Empire.io uses a verification threshold under clause 5.4. Metaspins uses risk-based verification under clause 9.7. Oshi Casino and PlayAmo both use risk-based verification under clause 12. Rainbet uses risk-based verification under clauses 5.2 and 8.3. Shuffle uses risk-based verification under clause 4.1. Sportsbet.io uses a verification threshold under clause 6.6.
The difference between a threshold and risk-based verification is material. A threshold operator sets a fixed amount at which documents are requested. A risk-based operator decides for itself when the risk is high enough to ask. Both clauses can delay a withdrawal, but the risk-based clause gives the operator more discretion. The no-KYC comparison explains how that discretion works in the terms.
No threshold amounts are published on this page. Where the data block says a threshold exists, it does not state the amount because the clause on file does not, or because the amount was not read. A reader who wants to know the exact trigger must open the terms themselves.
The blank for Rocketpot is not in this category. Rocketpot publishes a verification clause, 11.4. The blank that lowers its score sits elsewhere. For every operator, the exact clause number is the reference the page checked, not a summary.
What a restricted-country clause actually costs
A restricted-country list is a list an operator writes into its own terms or registration system. It names the jurisdictions from which the operator will not accept play. The operator writes the list; it is not a government list, and it can change without notice. Each of the twelve operators publishes such a list, and Ireland appears on none of the lists held here.
An operator establishes where a player is from three common sources: the address given at registration, the country of the payment method, and the IP address the session came from. These are often reconciled at the first withdrawal rather than at signup. A player whose documents are inconsistent can be reviewed at that point, not before. The terms rarely say that the check happens at signup, and the first withdrawal is a common trigger. The operator may also use the country of the bank account or the wallet provider as a further signal, but the terms usually list the three primary sources.
When the answer comes back wrong, the standard terms close the account, void the balance, and do not always return deposits. The player has no appeal in the country that refused them because the operator holds no licence there. That is the cost of the clause. For an Irish reader, the clause is currently a cost that falls on players elsewhere: Ireland appears on no restricted-country list held here. The restricted-countries clause has not been individually confirmed for any operator, and the reader should read the terms before depositing.
Vave holds a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, number OGL/2024/1676/0905, status Active, holder Latcas B.V., issued 2025-05-19. Its verification clause is 8.7 and is risk-based. No cash-out ceiling was read for Vave. That blank is part of its score, exactly as it would be for any operator that does not publish one in the documents on file.
The placement is disclosed so that a reader who arrives from a search for the best crypto and bitcoin casinos in Ireland sees which position was bought and which scores were earned.
